Google Maps is the default map layer if no other layers are added.

The Compass map interface will display pins representing platform location for each video source containing KLV (or static location) data

***NOTE - Compass does not need access to the map server for it to load, the laptop of the browser will need access

Add Map Layer

  1. Select map layers icon in the bottom left corner of the map settings

  1. Select Edit in the bottom right corner

  1. Fill out the template by entering a Name, Type, Style, URL, Layer, and Max Zoom

Switch to the XML tab at the top to upload a TAK XML file

  1. After selecting the map layers button, all the map layers to use are shown. Select the desired map layer from the templates created
